NGD Roots & Waterfalls Day Trip, Saturday 31 October 2026 A one-day trip out of Accra for the diaspora and anyone who wants to see more of Ghana than the usual spots. We leave Accra Mall at 7:00am (pickup from 6:00am) and travel as a group. What the day looks like: Visit the birthplace of Okomfo Anokye, one of the most important figures in Ghana’s history. Stop at Awukugua. Swim and cool off at Asenema Waterfalls. There are no changing rooms, so bring your swimwear and a towel. Optional massage on site, paid individually. Games and karaoke, with the equipment taken care of. Back at Accra Mall around 5 to 7pm. What’s included: coach transport, food, drinks, entry fees, games and karaoke, and a photographer for the day. Price: GH₵1,000 per seat, 23 seats only. Pay in full, or pay a GH₵500 deposit now and the GH₵500 balance by Friday 30 October. Booking closes Thursday 29 October. 18+.
